Prior to the final decision to install any new equipment, SCX Special Projects' advanced design capabilities mean that we are able to assist with bespoke crane design and consultancy services and feasibility studies for new, innovative handling systems, enabling the optimum solution to be developed.
Whether as part of an overall solution or a stand-alone study, SCX Special Projects can propose concepts to solve even the most complex of handling problems, analysing the costs, benefits and practicality of solutions.
As part of any project, we can provide optioneering reports, preliminary FMEA, scoping calculations, mechanical sequence diagrams, design justification reports, functional design specifications, sequence and interlocks definition documents, 3D models, FEA studies and seismic analysis in order to ensure the optimum design is developed. Similarly, any or all of these studies can be undertaken, as desired, on a concept development, helping you to make a fully informed decision before you decide to go ahead with a project.

Following the design stages of a project, prototypes of bespoke handling designs can be created so as to provide a real-world simulation, enabling a greater understanding of the operational demands that will placed on the finished equipment. This also allows for any final adjustments to be made to the design, should they be required, in order to optimise the final solution prior to its creation.
Our extensive in-house fabrication, testing and assembly facilities then allow for an extremely high level of control throughout the manufacturing process, in terms of both project consistency and client involvement.
Whatever your handling problem, SCX Special Projects can create a solution to perfectly meet your requirements.
